Are these products for human consumption?+
No. All Hive Biolabs products are sold strictly for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use, diagnostic, or therapeutic purposes. Every label, box, and COA carries that statement.
Is the testing really independent?+
Where a certificate is published, yes: it comes from an independent ISO 17025 laboratory and is tied to the lot number printed on the vial. For any vial, request the current lot's documentation from the product page and we send what exists before you order.
What's included on the COA?+
A lot-specific certificate with HPLC purity, the testing lab and its accreditation, the test date, the methods run, and the lot number. Where the lab offers online record verification, the lot record links to it.
How fast can I get documentation?+
Every product page has a "Request current documentation" link. Where the independent certificate is on file it is also linked beside the purchase controls and opens instantly. Requests are answered with whatever documentation exists for the lot that would ship, usually within one business day, before you commit.
Who can order?+
Qualified researchers and institutions. By purchasing, you affirm you are a qualified researcher and that products will be used only for legitimate in-vitro research.
What is your purity standard?+
Our target is ≥98% HPLC. We publish the lab's measured result per lot once the certificate is on file, and a lot that doesn't meet spec doesn't ship.
How are products shipped and stored?+
Compounds ship lyophilized with appropriate handling. Storage guidance is included with documentation; we maintain chain-of-custody from synthesis through fulfillment.
How long does shipping take?+
Paid orders ship within 1 business day of payment confirmation, with tracking emailed to you. Priority orders confirmed before 2:00 PM MT ship the same day. Standard shipping is $9.95 and free at $150 of product; Priority is $19.95. Carrier transit (Standard 3–5 business days, Priority 1–3 business days) is on top of our processing time and depends on your destination. See the Shipping & Returns page for details.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Venmo or Zelle. Build your order, then the payment page shows the exact amount, your order's reference code and where to send it. Nothing is charged on the site itself; your units are held for 48 hours, and a person on our team matches the payment to your reference, usually within a few hours. We never collect or store card numbers.
How do I know where my order is?+
Your confirmation email has a secure link to the order's status page, which shows: received and awaiting payment, payment confirmed and preparing shipment, shipped with the tracking number, and delivered once recorded. The same view is in your account.
What is your return policy?+
Because these are research materials, shipped products can’t be returned. Items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect are replaced or refunded — report within 7 days of delivery with photos and the lot number.
Do you offer bulk or institutional pricing?+
Yes — for larger quantities or institutional purchasing, contact us with your requirements and we'll follow up.
How should I store the product after it arrives?+
Keep it sealed, cool, and dry on receipt, per the documentation included with your order. Proper storage preserves stability for your research.
