How to read a real COA
- The batch number on the COA must match the vial label exactly.
- It should name the testing lab and its accreditation (e.g. ISO 17025).
- It should include an HPLC chromatogram and mass-spec (MS) confirmation.
- A generic or “typical” spec with no lot number is not batch-specific.
- You should be able to verify it on the testing lab’s own server — not just a PDF.
